Polis Bollard
The Neri Polis Bollard is a boldly considered low-level luminaire that brings sculptural intent to functional outdoor lighting. Constructed around a distinctive dual-cone form, Polis is offered in two design variants – Pure and Carve – and three heights (400 mm, 800 mm and 1000 mm), giving specifiers the means to calibrate both visual scale and light output to suit the surrounding environment. Whether defining pedestrian routes through a commercial precinct, activating a landscaped plaza, or anchoring a campus entry sequence, Polis operates as both a lighting tool and a deliberate design element – one that contributes to the spatial identity of a project rather than receding into the background.
Pure & Carve
The Pure variant presents a clean, uninterrupted cone silhouette for applications where restraint and simplicity are paramount, while the Carve variant introduces sculpted surface relief that catches light and shadow, adding material depth and visual interest at ground level.
3 Height Options
Both variants are available across the full height range, allowing a cohesive family of fixtures to be deployed at different scales within a single project – from low path markers at 400 mm to more prominent 800mm or 1000 mm statement pieces at key nodes.
Optic Configurations
The Polis Bollard is available in three optic configurations to suit different application and ambience requirements: a 90° optic for directional, single-sided illumination ideal for wall-adjacent or pathway-edge installations; a 180° optic that projects light in a broad semi-circular distribution suited to path and garden bed definition; and a 360° optic delivering fully omnidirectional output for open plaza, courtyard and precinct applications where uniform surround lighting is the goal. All three optics feature a transparent extra-clear tempered anti-reflective glass screen, and are driven by a medium-power LED matrix using modular 2×2 refractive PMMA lenses, available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K colour temperatures across Ra90 output.

Designed and manufactured by Neri SpA in Italy, the Polis Bollard is backed by BIM model downloads, technical datasheets and installation documentation to support efficient project delivery. Available in Australia through Verbatim Lighting.
