PROJECT OVERVIEW
Verbatim Lighting supported a large-scale warehouse lighting upgrade in Victoria, delivering a smart, energy-efficient solution designed to meet the demands of continuous, 24/7 operations. With over 1,000 fittings installed by one of our trusted partners, LEDSAFE, the project demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability, safety and long-term cost savings.
The upgrade replaced obsolete lighting throughout the facility, improving visibility and reliability while significantly reducing maintenance requirements. In the warehouse, a combination of Lumex Linear High Bays and Lumex Skybay High Bays (100W and 150W) was selected to deliver high-performance illumination suited to a demanding logistics environment.

KEY PRODUCTS USED
Lumex Linear High Bays were chosen for their environmentally friendly design, featuring no glass to break, no dangerous chemicals and no risk from exposed voltages – ideal for large industrial spaces where safety and durability are critical. Complementing this, Lumex Skybay High Bays incorporate temperature-controlled intelligence, allowing them to operate efficiently even in higher ambient temperatures, helping to maintain performance while reducing energy consumption.
Lighting within the office areas was upgraded using Lumex Novablade LED Panels, providing comfortable, uniform illumination for administrative and operational staff. Externally, the awning areas were fitted with Lumex Skybay Canopy LED lights, delivering up to 150 lm/W energy-to-light conversion for efficient, high-output coverage.
The result is a future-ready smart lighting solution that supports round-the-clock logistics operations, lowers maintenance costs and delivers energy savings in excess of $200,000 per annum.
